Earl of Harrington released this week. It was the last book of a multi-author coordinated project, but I took it one step further. I decided to attach it to an old series, and make it the first book of a brand new series: Bluestockings Defying Rogues.
So what does this mean?
It means that there are some extra characters in the book. To be more specific earls that many readers may become attached to and wonder why they don’t have a happy-ever-after. Well that’s because they haven’t found it yet. They will. I promise.
In the beginning of Earl of Harrington I wrote an Author’s Note. In that note I explained this very thing, but apparently, as I’m sure most readers do, they skipped right over it and went straight to the story. So when they read the book they were shall we say–frustrated that there were “extra” earls. Again–they will get a story. The second book for this series is already up for preorder.
If you purchased Earl of Harrington then you will also notice there are 3 excerpts at the back of the book. This was also explained in the Author’s Note. One of the excerpts is for Searching for My Rogue. Alys and James play a huge part in Earl of Harrington and I wanted people to know they already have a story if they wished to read it. There is also an excerpt for the first Wicked Earl’s book for those that are new to the project. The final excerpt is for the second Bluestocking’s Defying Rogues book. All of these had a purpose–to inform readers of where Earl of Harrington “started” and where it was “going”.
I hope that this clears things up for those readers that are wondering about Darcy, Shelby, and Asthey or any of the females left unattached. Their story will come in time and I ask that you be patient. In the meantime check out Earl of Harrington and the series that is listed on its page. Thanks Again–Dawn
